Departing daily from the Marlin Marina, M.V. Reef-Kist travels via Fitzroy island on the way to the true Outer Great Barrier Reef. Each day we visit a reef  from a choice of Milln, Briggs, Moore and Thetford Reefs - About two (2) hours, approximately 40 nautical miles (70 kilometers) from the coast of Cairns.

Our experienced Reef Team - selected for their local knowledge and love of the Cairns region and the ocean - will help you discover the best snorkel and dive sites available from Cairns.

We normally visit two (2) sites on the reef each day and you can see all the marine life our sites have to offer. Nemo, sting rays, hundreds of fish, reef sharks and turtles to name a few.

Optional Introductory dives are available on request for AUD 50 (first dive) and AUD 30 (second dive) payable onboard.

Includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea and all required dive gear (dive computer included).

* Reef Team dive guides are available for an extra cost. $11 per person per dive.

Itinerary

* Schedules, snorkel and dive site movements and number of snorkel and dives sessions planned are subject to weather and other conditions and are executed by the Master of the Vessel for the benefit and safety of all passengers and crew on the day.
