The SSI Stress and Rescue Course is conducted over five (5) days and consists of two (2) days pool & Theory training followed by three (3) days two (2) nights on the fabulous outer Great Barrier Reef onboard the M.V. Kangaroo Explorer. The course includes ten (10) dives in total. Rescue Courses usually start every second Monday - please contact us to determine commencement dates for our next course. The SSI Stress and Rescue Course prepares you for practically any diving situation that requires a resque response by teaching you the proper way to take care of yourself and others. Course instruction includes helping you obtain valuable life-saving skills.

Course Includes:

  • Two (2) days of pool and theory work
  • Free use of a prescription mask if required during the course
  • International Stress & Rescue Diver Certification
  • Different reef visits at various locations
  • Opportunity to perform specialty courses towards, or completion of, the prestigious Master Scuba Diver qualification
  • All dive gear, including the torches and accessories required for your night dives
