Advanced Dive Course - $520.00
Cairns Dive Centre conducts Advanced Dive Courses, which start daily and are completed over 3 days and 2 nights - spent entirely onboard M.V. Kangaroo Explorer at the Outer Barrier Reef. We take a maximum of 38 overnight passengers and visit a variety of sites about an hour and a half off the coast of Cairns. These sites include the beautiful Moore, Milln, Briggs, Elford and Thetford reefs.
The dives included in this course are:
- Deep Dive
- Navigation Dive
- Night Dive
A further 2 dives must be completed from a selection of dives including:
- Search and Recovery Dive
- Boat Dive
- Underwater Naturalist Dive
- Digital Underwater Photography Dive
- Computer Dive
This is mixed with 5 pleasure dives, giving you a total of 10 dives - including two night dives. There is also plenty of time between training dives for recreational diving and snorkelling.
All dive gear is included - that is torches and all accessories required for your night dive. During your Advanced Open Water course you will reinforce your just learned skills and extend your knowledge
Important Notes
All cancellations incur a 20% penalty.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of travel incur a 100% penalty.
Please note that the following conditions may prevent you from diving or gaining a medical clearance for a dive course:
- asthma, epilepsy, diabetes
- any heart or lung conditions
- any major operations
- some prescription medications
If you have any doubts or questions about these points, please contact us prior to making a booking.
Daily pick-ups to and from your city accommodation are available. On the first day of your course you will be picked up at 8.00am.
