Stress & Rescue Dive Course - $595.00

 

The SSI Stress and Rescue Course is conducted over 5 days and consists of 10 dives in total. All training dives are performed on the fabulous outer Great Barrier Reef onboard the M.V. Kangaroo Explorer.

Rescue Courses start every second Monday - please contact us to determine commencement dates for our next course. The SSI Stress and Rescue Course prepares you for practically any diving situation by teaching you the proper way to take care of yourself and others. Course instruction includes helping you obtain valuable life-saving skills.

  • 2 days of pool and theory work
  • Free use of a prescription mask if required during the course
  • International Stress & Rescue Diver Certification
  • 3 different reef visits at various locations
  • Opportunity to perform specialty courses towards, or completion of, the prestigious Master Scuba Diver qualification
  • All dive gear, including the torches and accessories required for your night dives

Important Notes

Please note that cancellations incur a 20% penalty.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of travel incur a 100% penalty.

Current proof of certification in CPR and Basic Fist Aid is required prior to certification as a Stress & Rescue Diver (International Resuscitation courses are acceptable.)  First Aid, CPR and Oxygen Administration courses are available through Cairns Dive Centre if required.  Please enquire for more details. 

Daily pick-ups to and from your city accommodation are available. On the first day of your course you will be picked up at 9am.
