What is a Referral?

Students who have already completed the classroom and pool training sections of an Entry-Level Scuba certification course with a recognised training agency can travel with Cairns Dive Centre to make their open-water training dives in the ocean to complete their certification.  (Do not choose this option if you are already a certified diver, if you wish to snorkel or if you wish to make Introductory dives as part of a Snorkeling Trip.)

Using state-of-the-art diving equipment on our liveaboard vessel, M.V. Kangaroo Explorer, explore some of the best dive sites on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. You will see a vast array of hard and soft corals, great drop-offs, exciting walls and swim-throughs.

We visit a variety of beautiful reef sites about an hour and a half off the coast of Cairns. These sites include Moore, Milln, Briggs, Elford and Thetford reefs.

Enjoy 4 Instructor-supervised training dives to complete your certification, followed by 1 daytime pleasure dive.  An optional Introductory Night Dive is available for AUD 60 (pay onboard.)
