Cairns Dive Centre has certified dive trips departing daily to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. This is diving at it s best!
Using state of the art diving equipment on our liveaboard vessel, M.V. Kangaroo Explorer, explore some of the best dive sites on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. You will see a vast array of hard and soft corals, great drop-offs, exciting walls and swim-throughs. Experience the unbelievable thrill of Night Diving on the Great Barrier Reef.
We visit a variety of beautiful reef sites about an hour and a half off the coast of Cairns. These sites include Moore, Milln, Briggs, Elford and Thetford reefs.

Important Notes
Please note that cancellations incur a 20% penalty.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of travel incur a 100% penalty.
Please note that the following conditions may prevent you from diving or gaining a medical clearance to dive:
- asthma, epilepsy, diabetes
- any heart or lung conditions
- any major operations
- some prescription medications
If you have any doubts or questions about these points, please contact us prior to making a booking.
Daily pick-ups and drop-offs are available to and from your city accommodation. On the first day of your trip you will be picked up at 8:00am.
If necessary we offer our passengers a Refresher course of approximately an hour duration, conducted on the day prior to departure from 11.30 am - 12.30 pm. There is no charge for this if you are travelling with us - $66.00 if travelling with another company.
